Removing the wheelbearings, is there a slimy wee trick to these, or are they just like the hilux axle bearings and they can be absolute a$$holes to get the shaft out? I've got the axle out & up on the bench, just trying to get the axle itself out of the bearing, I'm guessing they must be pressed into place? Locking nut is off etc, the wee shim/locking tab plate is out.
Joys of being a truck mechanic tells me get the big hammer out and stick the whole thing in the press, but I just want to make sure I havn't missed anything obvious, before I go and destroy the lot
