terrano hubs
hi every one have been doing a lot of searching on the net I have a 1991 Nissan terrano its a v6 petrol vg30e and iv gone through a set of auto locking hubs can any one tell me the what spline they are are they 27 or 28 have read that the v6 are 28 all through the years but am not shore could anyone help on this and would you be able to recommend a set of hubs chur
Re: terrano hubs
Should be 28 splines. If the inner cv's are 5 bolt then absolutley Yes. If inners are 6 bolt (3x2) then they could be 27's.
This guy is in our club (Norwest OHV) and Shore 4 Wheelers and he sells both spline counts.
He goes by Diesel Dave.
They will stand up to what ever you can throw at them with 33's.
Cheers,

I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!

Some early v6 had the 27spline hubs.
Best way is to remove and count (very simple job, 5min with an allen key).
But Simons right, 3x2 bolt pattern joining axles to diff flange have 27spline, 5x1 have 28 spline. (Nissan tho, so there's bound to be an exception somewhere along the production line)
