KYB shocks on a Safari, any good?

Hey guys,
I have some 4" lift shocks on my Safari which are now too long since I removed some 50mm spacers. I now have to certify it for a few things so I'm looking into some suitable shock absorbers to keep the springs captive.
At first I was looking at EFS 75mm lift shocks, I've had some before in my old Landcruiser and like them but that was on Leaf springs.
But I am able to get some KYB shocks for a very good price, they are just OE standard shocks. They happen to be for Landcruisers which gives me the right travel.
The KYB's will cost less than half the EFS ones but I don't know if they will be up to the job. i.e. occasional Rallywoods but mostly towing and camping trips etc.
Has anyone used standard KYB shocks and are they ok?
