anyone know if its possible to get 5.3 ring and pinion sets for a escudo?

Most first gen come with 5.125 so if thats close enough I would say very easy .Re: escudo ring and pinions

I've got 5.8, but it is an expensive exercise.
I guess you are wanting to get back mechanical advantage from going to big tyres. If you aren't worried about on road driving, then t case gears are good apparently. If you do want on road then one option is to drive with road tyres, then swap wheels over, not very convenient.
T case gears only work in low 4wd. Try trail tough in the USA.
Only manufacturer that I know of that makes ring and pinions is 4xfourart in Turkey. 4xfourart were excellent to deal with.
Can you fit your ring gear yourself, or need someone to do it for you? That was costly for me too.
