For speed Warn 8274-50 or better still a Gigglepin twin motor set up. That's what most of the Aussies use in comps.

Electric winch can do with small dia rope, my rear winch is 8274 with 7.8 hp motor.
Works well and is reliable.
Just remember it is only a back up, or good for tech stuff if pto will not go backwards.

Twin motor 8274 with free spool is the best option. At present nothing off the shelf will do what you want but can be made pretty easily.
The last one I built had twin 7.8hp 24v Superduty motors and that was about as strong as you'll get an electric winch but was pretty expensive option.
The one Meatc is using has twin 8hp Runva motors and that has proven pretty reliable and those motors are about 1/3 the price of a Superduty motor. This probably what I'll build for my truck as I have a couple of 8274's to play with.

I have a twin motor lowmount that has some potential but needs upgrading in a few places to make it reliable. Stay tuned as I'm about to put it through its paces and will find the weaknesses!
Nissan Terrano coilovers, turboed VH45, Safari axles, and some other stuff.

Lol, "relocated fuel tank to skip", love it. That's about the only place mine will fit as well.

What is your current rear mount elec? Will you leave it there? Or does the mid mount replace this?

If your rear mount is a decent winch, I would seriously consider Bernie and Craigs 2up adaptor with a couple of Runva motors. Probably the best bang for buck. That way you get a twin motor winch with a decent free spool (8274 free spool suck without mods) and you should be able to mod the drum to have bigger ears so you can run more rope. Also I believe the 2up has a slight gear increase so the drum turns a little faster. Ofcourse you can do all this with gigglepin/8274 but you can spend a fortune that way.

that's my two cents.

Oh and your wheelbase is to short and you need Japanese axles. What's that? Your truck goes and mine doesn't. Damnit.

LOL... for whats it's worth.. i'd put the pto in the back with a step up box or zuk transfer case in reverse to up the gear ratio and put the electric one up front as the backup.. Only reason I haven't done this is because my fuel tank isn't in the skip  and is in the way.. but if I lift my deck a bit then it might end up in the skip.. But it not gonna happen this year..

That's actually sound advice. Rear mount the PTO. Bung a 2up in front.
You are running a nissan winch (from memory)? They are stronger once rear mounted (worm less likely to screw out through case)
Even if it's not a Nissan one, the rear mount means you never have to think about how the rope is laying on the drum, probably more important on your primary winch than secondary.

Yes that is a real option,i think i can get away with a smaller sprocket on the pto shaft out of transfercase and larger one on pto shaft to winch.to speed things up .its too much drama to run the warn 9500lb winch around so u can pull falword.and u need to run ur motor to make ur pto turn .

Yes it is a nissan pto winch.but very poorly geared . Its slow as a slow thing.and im winch and drive is almost a no go unless there is no traction.
