installing a factory difflock

Re: installing a factory difflock
Swap complete rear axle assembly, fit up some pipes for actuation lines.. Not tricky. Might be harder nutting out switch/ relays for vacuum system.
Or to just fit the nugget a lot harder as diff rear hat would need to be cut off and diff lock one welded in place

Re: installing a factory difflock
Front diff is a high piñon rear diff is low piñon draglink will need work.
Seen it done in a up north winch truck all good till it broke on the tracks as it was welded assembly which in all cases is not a good idea

Re: installing a factory difflock
The diff swap I did a few years ago was easy. No manual, all wiring sat exactly where it was meant to, so just plugged into the loom where required.
Re: installing a factory difflock
Oh yes easy pisy in the back , get mcvalve for vacuum activation run rubber or steel lines for vacuum
Unless you got Nissan expensive valve bank to run
