Hi ever one i am in the market for a 4x4 double cab ute so far i have mainly been looking at the ford couriers because they are in my price range but a nice hilux has come up that's also in my price range. i am going to do a farm cadet ship next year so i need some thing that can get up some pretty dodgy roads but also so handle well on the open road because i will be traveling back to Auckland a few times a year. are there any known faults with either of the models and which one do you think best suits my need.
thanks :D

Ive had a 94 lux factory solid axle lux when I was working on a hill farm down south, was good and solid didn't ride the softest and was a bit low on power, race them and they over heat. Also prone to a bit of rust in places.
and courier mates had one and I got a ranger and they seem good, do over heat when being raced a lot but have good power, ride nice ,more of a road truck than a off road weapon, just my 2c that is :D
