been a fair few on trademe of late,
can be done with an l20et exhaust manifold and turbo,
or with the standard manifold and a u bend up to any turbo.
I have heard a rumour that the l20et manifold see's no.6 run a little hot but i'd have to try it before I believe it with mine

I would believe it. As the cylinder furtherest from the radiator it doesn't get cooled as well as other cylinders as water is again heated up some what by the time it gets to the rear of the block.

does the l20et manifold have to be altered in anyway?
saw on trademe that it did?
ALSO what would have to be done to the block/head to run a turbo.

Pretty sure its a lick or two with a bench grinder to get clearance for inlet manifold, bugger all, and a bit of slotting. You will probably have to turn your pump up a bit to give it some more fuel, work out how to get oil pressure feed to turbo and the oil dump/return back to block. My LD has a fitting in sump for return(also used by vacuum pump on alt) pressure can be got from either vac pump supply side or oil sender tapping. Pretty easy bolt on 30hp, just don't go crazy on fuel and boost or you will melt the LD

yeah do it, remember to get a tach sorted as these things can pull 5300rpm and they sound absolutely awesome up in that top third of the rev range not too mention make good power.
I've wanted to build a burnout car with one for a long time now.

I had one in a VB commy years ago, N/A but was a complete dog, remember hooking up the old mans GOP 16ft boat to go from HB to Taupo, sweet on the flats but those napier taupo hills! absolutely ridiculous, overheating big time and walking pace up some of the big climbs! that was 5spd and 4cyl 4.11 ratio diff too! swore id never hav another, till I learnt about diesels and now I love them! there seems to be a big difference between some LD28's power wise too, my s3 landy goes real good, and I havnt put the turbo on yet! they do sound sweet, going back to the commy, most people didn't know it was diesel and cose it had a freeflow and coby I got lots of "is that a 202"
