Hi there,

I am in the process of turboing my gq safari and I intend to tee of the heater coolant line at the theromstat. Does anyone know the thread pitch the tee needs to be to fit.

The return line I was thinking of using the 3/8BSPT plug at the rear of the block, I have heard mixed comments of this some saying its a return others saying its a feed. Can anyone confirm if it is a return.

I would like to avoid using tees in the heater hoses.

I have put an example picture of what I want to acheive below:

Cheers
Nick

Thanks guys. I will use the engine mount oil feed and weld a return on the sump.

From what I can tell the thread for the thermostat housing is 1/4BSPT but i have not tried it yet. for the return i might need to use the heater hose

you can drill and tap a 1/4npt to dash 6an fitting where the factory water line goes and use braided lines
