This is the openSource computer interface software that allows you to ''interrogate'' your injected V8s 'going-ons' care of what the 14CUX ECU is doing.

I had an in-depth play last summer on my project hacked up Rangie and made an important realization that the poor ECU was not receiving any speedo pulses so this probably explained the weird effects of too high an idle after a run or a battle getting the revs to drop and the rig to slow say for a motorway offramp even with the old foot off the gas pedal.

Still working on that as well as making a few more investigation sessions with my little netbook connected to the ECU while underway...

There's the prob though. Being on your own it isn't so very safe as you drive and think momentarily about what the computer on the seat is doing while it monitors and logs the ECU... The other thing is this whole project though a heap of fun can be a massive time vampire if you don't look out.

The other thought is should i put any further on this into the Electronics section (even though it's only ever going to be relavent to V8 14CUX injected Rovers)?

I have a screen recording of the roverguage process that i can chuck up onto Youtube if any are interested but it's really just a look-see rather than an in-depth explanation. (you hear me talking to the stupid cat)! Let me know if you're interested.
