Speedo problem after installing amp (Prado 90)

Yesterday morning everything working fine. Installed amp and speakers, drove home after. Speedo will work every now and then, sometimes will flicker around anywhere between 0 and 100 kms when i'm doing 50. Sometimes won't work at all.

Any advice? Speed sensor? Wiring somewhere??

Hey I used to have a really annoying bell in my surf that went off when ever I went over 105km, When I removed the bell I pulled the speedo cable out of the back of the dashboard just a tiny bit without knowing, it being loose done exactly what you described then eventually stopped all together from wriggling right out. You may have pulled on the loom that heads up to the dash? I would check the connection behind the dash first if I was you as they don't clip in very tightly its easy to pull them out, it just means a lot of screws and small hands.

This is assuming the Prado has a similar setup, being the same year and all.
