Hi All,

I have trouble starting the truck in the morning as it takes slightly longer to crank over as usual.

What could this be??

Cheers

maybe Glow plugs dying, battery on way out, starter motor going out

Air in fuel, low compression to add to the above list..............

Check good contact on battery leads - both +ve at battery and starter motor, and earth leads on battery, chassis nad engine. Also check the crimps on the leads are still good and clean.

Double glow it and see if that fixes the problem. If it does replace the plugs.

Given that the weather is getting warmer its probably not the battery but its worth getting a local sparky to do a quick load check on it.

I just rebuilt the starter on my pig horn and it made a massive difference to how quickly the motor spins over.

Matt.
