for the 16 valve you will need
to get a efi fuel pump, filter and lines
modify or put a vitara tank in.
the wiring is not to bad for a efi engine.
You will also need the engine complete with all of the hoses, pulleys intact. You will need the fan, starter, alternator, coil, air cleaner, exhaust manifold, head pipe, engine room wiring harness, under dash wiring harness, ECU.
For the 4A-GZE you will need all the engine parts etc as above and a T-50 transmisson, clutch & bellhousing to suit, intercooler, a custom shortened intermediate shaft, custom engine & box mounts, a fan of some sort & shift the radiator forward.
...and a bucket to put the shattered little pieces of your diffs & cvs in.
I'm pretty sure you'll need an electric fuel pump either way. Only the 1300 have the fuel pump on the head. i.e 1600 carb (suzuki) engines will need an in tank or inline fuel pump.
I had a 4AGE in my 413, it went really well and I never broke any of the drive line even thrashing it on road. I now have a 1600 suzuki engine in my samurai. My personal choice would be the suzuki engine. Its a lot easier to install and although it makes less power than the 4AGE the motor looks factory and is much beeter suited to off road use. My 4AGE use to hate water (i.e stop at the first sign of a puddle) and the power was a little to revy for good off road control. Although if you don't like your panels stright it was a whole lot of fun
cool mate thats cool was thinking about useing an 8valve 1600cc carbed engine with headers,2inch exhaust,midrange performance cam and a weber carb??should haul ass with those mods.shouldnt b 2many problems with electrics getting wet
