Re: rugger
Welcome! Yea, that's the only bugger about Daihatsu vehicles - they are few and far between so it pays to always be on the look out for parts on Trade Me etc even if you don't need them at the time.
If time/space allows it would probably be best buying an entire parts vehicle.

Re: rugger
yea thats wot i need just finding one. Rung so many wreakers with no luck so thought i give this ago.Been told toyota blizzard is the same or rockeys but i cant see it cause they are way smaller
Re: rugger
The Blizzard is essentially the same vehicle, but with the Toyota 2L 2.4 diesel engine. The rocky, like you said is a bit smaller, but some versions came out with the 2.8L diesel engine. Unsure if any came to NZ though.
Trade me would be your best bet for parts. What part of the country are you in?

Re: rugger
Parts are rear, the rugger usually has the 2.8dt but were badged rocky in ausi and fourtrak in uk. the rocky in nz usually has the smaller 1.6. The rugger also has the solid front and rear diffs.
search for "warfs" website (daihatsu 4wd website from overseas with heaps of info).
