Finally decided its time to get the ute i've always wanted and sell the prado (90 series diesel)
I was just wondering if anyone has any pointers ,things to look out for? I Know the heads go on 1kz's ,but is there any on the spot kinda tests to tell without doing a compression test?
Anything else major to check for?

Really low kms (hopefully genuine) and well priced but slight hassle being up north.

Higher kms -same price ,but with the extras i want and only a few hours away.

check viscous fan, check radiator fluid has been changed regularly, check diesel pump and power steer mechanical pump for leaks

Cheers Jerry , out of those two what would u lean towards , the bottom one appeals to me because i wouldnt have the cash to put a bar and tires on the other one ,but the lower kms could be a benefit in the long run?
