Hi,
I am after some advice on tyres for my Hilux as I need to commute everyday on the highway and travel a lot so don't want something too noisy but need something that can handle light offroading in the weekend.. mainly forestry trails and beach driving.
I am planning on getting some steel Black Rock rims to go with these tyres.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Mike

If budget isnt too mich of an issue BFG all terrains would be my choice, just remember the initial cost may be more but theyll do a shit load more kms than others. Have heard of guys getting 80-100,000 kms out of them.

Thats what I was going to say. They are hard to beat my old man has had three sets on Prados and has done 100,000 on all three.
He did however get wheel alignments and have them rotated regularly which will make a difference.

I've been offered some Bridgestone Dueller All Terrain 265/65/17 . Would these compare to the BFG's performance on/off road?

If there the same Bridgestone ATs as my mate had on his Ranger there louder than any MT Ive heard and I have no idea why, the BFG Ats are good noise wise onroad.
