LN100 steering arm hits Ubolts

Post by mudbugga »

Mate has a LN100 Hilux that is a work in progress.

He has fitted a 4wdbits EFS 75mm suspension kit in it and the steering arm is hitting the Ubolts on the drivers side. Even does it on level ground.

Is there a simple solution to stop this, or does he have to go to a hi-steer kit?

Are you still using the factory round u bolts?
If it is only just hitting, then a flat top u bolt may give enough clearance

He's already got the ubolts with the flattened tops fitted. They were in the kit he got.

I suspect it will need either the drop drag link

or the hi-steer kit.

Anyone had any experience with either of those?

Yes, I had that problem, got same springs. Only solution I found to fix it was high steer kit
