Surf vzn185 front diff lowering?
Surf vzn185 front diff lowering?
I have a 50mm spring lift in my surf that actually lifted if 75mm over the old tired factory springs. Now the CV's are at a crazy angle. Can anyone recommend a nz supplier of a diff lowering kit as this sounds like the best way to try get back to a safe cv angle.

Any idea what his trader name was? I have done a search on TM and can't seem to find anything. Cheers

I doubt you will be able to as the input shaft sits right above a cross member for ya lower A arms. Hard to describe but if ya hop under the passenger side and have a quick look you will see what I mean.

The kits of trademe were pretty pointless as they only dropped the pinion end that had a minimal effect on the axle position , A freind that installed them ripped the bolts out of the mounting plates on the first trip ,
Fitting manual hubs will increase your cv boots life for road use ,
Doing a propper diff drop with lowering the subframe stuffs your ground clearance so its a hard one ,
IMO i would just leave it and if you start breaking axles , BEAM AXLE !!!
