I just use the diesel from the pump at the petrol station. I've been waiting for a tanker to get lost in my driveway but alas still I wait..............

I heard that if you're running a commonrail diesel then gull is the only one with a dieselfuel that meets the spec for euro4 requirements.

aside of that it's all just dead dinosaurs./

hard to tell as Z is the only one that gives real info.

remember that 90% of diesel comes from marsden, the rest is imported. however different brands can have different additive packs added to it.

a big thing is what cetane rating. common rails all require over 50 cetane. earlier engines often only used 40 centane. that was a problem for a long time, new tech engines never ran well on the old style fuel.

The fuels are also blended as to where best prices are at the time the fuel co's are buying from, different countries fuel have different make ups, wax content etc, so there will be slight variations in the mix at any one time, and remember when it comes to buying power compared to the big boys lil ol NZ is at near the bottom of the food chain so we get the dregs at the bottom of the barrel. :x
I always put some Moreys injector cleaner in every tank no mater where I fill, working good so far for me.

considering the crude that's coming out of taranaki is pretty much only one wax distillation away from super lush diesel we *should* be using pretty good shit.
sadly that gets sent elsewhere and we're pretty much given wrung out rubbish juice.
