Hi
I looking for some 16 x 8 white spoked rims for my 1986 range rover, had no luck with the local tyre shops, anyone had simillar problems?
Can anyone tell me if the later modles have wider rims and if they fit the earlyer modles.
Also are steel spoked wheels better than the factory RR alloys?
Cheers Chris

Hi
5 wheel studs, pcd is approximately 190mm, off set to the inside 3 "to 4" would do.
Cheers

I have a set of alloys from my 91 Discovery for sale if that is of any help to you. They are 5 stud 16 x 7 1/2. I'm pretty sure that they are the same stud pattern but might pay to check. Be about $250 including freight. I can send a photo if you give me your E-mail address.

They might just do it, e-mail me at

I've got some 285x75x16 cooper mud tyres, the tyre guy said I need arround 8" wide, but checking the bfg web site they say a 7.5" is a minium for that size.
I was miles off on my measurements, should read 5 stud @ 6.5" pcd for pre 1995 or 1996 post is 5 stud @ 120mm pcd

If they are standard Discovery alloys, they will only be 7" wide. The stud pattern is the same, so they should fit the RR no problems. The standard steel Discovery rims are a good strong rim, & cheap, but they are also only 7" wide.
