need help on rewiring my tech

I have a 1990 Prado lj78
the 2.4lt bottom end went so I replaced it with a rebuilt 3l . with a mechanical
injector pump .
Now I have no tech and my transmission shifts at high revs
I found I can control the shift with The Rail II shift controller

but hav not a clue where to start on repairing my tec

So you had a 2LTE ? ...
The tacho signal in the 2LTE is generated in the fuel pump and sent to the ECU to control fuel as well as shift points then feed out to the tacho.
The 3L sender unit is different and sends different signals...
So I doubt you can use the same signal without converting it...

Most people manualise the auto.... Or you can use an after market controller. Which are normally big dollars.

do you have a model number and or vehicle that it came from as Im looking at trying to track one down for club runs as a full auto.. then switch to manual auto for events..
