v6 suzuki ideas ??

what does everyone think about the v6 suzuki thinking about buying one??

they all need the timing chains, tensioners & guides replaced, the 2.5 and 2.7 motor need them done every 180ish km, and the h20a needs them done sooner (depends on how well maintained it has been)

i had one timing chains are easy to do apart from that i just sea fomed the motor turned out mint as
little mods and i got 700mks to a tank

They're great for the price. Light thruck but can be thristy, best milage was 10 l/100km in standard form, worst was around 15l/100km with 245/75/16, raised etc. Mines a 2.5l v6. Diffs and axles are weak. Be careful with the 2.0l v6 as the cam chains fail prematuly, this was fixed in the 2.5l and 2.7l v6. Rear crank seals fail early as well, they were revised to fix the problem and parts stores seem to stock the new ones. Had a few electrical issues with mine but nothing major or costly as far as I can remember.

What size tank or l/100km? Doing sums on petrol/diesel keeps leading me back to these later model Vitaras.
