I got that basta#d of a stuck head exhaust stud out after trying the welded nut why (8) times and then trying to drill it out and snapping a drill in it.
So then I made up a jig to keep everything nice and straight and started to drill out the stud angain. With the stud built up with weld it made it possible to start a hole in the centre and slowly work my way through. It was a slow job with it taking 3.5 hrs to get 6mm into the stud, with luck on my side this time I was slowly able to remove the broken drill and got a hole the whole way through the stud. I then slowly opened up the hole until I was able to remove the last little bit of stud thread using the jig to support the drill to angle it with a left hand drill bit it came out and I was able to screw a new bolt in
