yea mate the steering box makes radiator room very slim. You dont actually need an escudo radiator, a samurai one along with a nice tight viscous fan is more than enough cooling for the g16, even for the guys who thrash the shit out of them in aussie. I have a late model jimny alloy radiator that is slightly thicker than the stock one that i got from a1 radiators. Think it was 260 bucks or something. I had to make new radiator mounts and the shroud wouldnt fit so i took the cheat option and put a large davies craig electric fan on which cools fine but i wouldnt use a cheap electric fabn. With a bit of work the viscous fan would work which i may go back to at some stage. Even just a stock samurai radiator thats in good nick will cool a g16 fine, and then you have no worries about fitting with the steering box. The best option is a mark 1 (1970 something) honda accord radiator, they are about as big as you can possible fit in with the power steering box and are way bigger and will work with the viscous fan but they are like rocking horse shit now i gave up looking and got the jimny one.

Iv only used a escudo radiator coz it came with the motor & saved me spending money on getting a new sj one (been through so many second hand ones), I mite have to look into getting something else coz power steering will be great, thanks for that
