Would also pay to try BNT if you have on, funny that Appco and Repco should quote you different prices, they are both owned by the same group.
Always pays to shop around can be very extreme differences in price.
Nice example was the hood for my snorkel project, dearest place $115.00, place I got it from $27.00,

Quote about Nissan with a sun roof being a skip, PRICELESS!!
1989 LWB Isuzu Bighorn, Intercooled 4JB1T, Ball Joint flip, Torsion bar wind, 3 inch stainless homebuilt snorkel,1/2 done electric fan mod, front sway bar quick disconnects, 15x8 ROH White Spokes,33x12.5x15 Hankooks.

As J Top suggested, buy a pair of genuine Nissan tie-rod ends from a GQ ute and get someone to machine a thread on each end of a length of 4140 for you.

Part numbers are:
48520-01J10 & 48570-01J10 for left and right hand tie-rod ends. Approx $125 each, plus GST and will last alot longer than a std full length steering rod.

maxi trac bar is on and going, next problem brake pads, easy to fit, except there are 2 different sizes, i had some new ones sitting around i bought them months ago went to slap them in and they dont fit.

170mm pads are for tb42 engines and 2.8 spirit models

142 mm pads are td42 patrol and safari.

any body wth a 2.8 safari need front pads? $20 you can have them. pm me if you are keen.
