rear drive shaft rubbing

do i have to get my truck recertified if i chop out cross member turn it 45 degrees and weld it bak on to stop rubbing with me driveshaft when i releace my stabilizer?

Turn the driveshaft around 180 so the skinny end is by the crossmember

wont that cause extra stress on the thin end ?

No it shouldnt make any difference, the same force is still going to be transmitted through the shaft. Take a look on outerlimits its what all the aussies do.
