Offroad-Express

So I've finally come to the dark side .
Sold the hilux and brought an SJ413.
Shes a bit rough, but will be a just a bush truck so will be perfect really with a bit of tidying up. Got a carby 1600 to go in it, and a set of 31s and a winch.

Here it is as it sits on the trailer now, just brought it home.
Will update as things start happening

So one of these found its way into my shed:

Was converted to an SU carb, which was knackered, so a few days later a brand new pair of these turned up :

(anyone want to buy the extra one? Got them for a bargain so would've been silly not to just buy both).

Interested to know why the rear brakes have been removed, guess they got sick of the drums filling up with mud, dont know how much of an issue thats going to be on a trailer truck, but I guess I could just slip on another set of front discs and weld up brackets for whatever calipers if need be.
The front 3link setup should be interesting to see how that goes, looks like someone also started setting up the rear for 4link, there are extra brackets added to the chassis thats all I can think they would be for, so that might be something to look into in the future.

Can't wait to get it all set up so it can move under its own steam again
