Coming Home, but can I bring my Patrol with me?

Looking at returning Home soon. Currently in Aus.

We have a Nissan Patrol which I would like to bring over with us as I can't be bothered having to build up another one all over again. And by the time you go through the business of selling and buying, the money I'll lose will be the same as transporting.

Its LWB 4.2 non turbo with a 7" lift running 35"mts(long story short). Fully engineered and road worthy and legal here, but with those spec's can it be engineered over there? can it be registered for road? Or would it be invane? Understanding that it already has twice the safety specs required by law in NZ.......I think.

Cheers
Any advise would be great.

Not 100% on the regs re roadable in NZ, but if you do find it is OK, I can put you in touch with a good shipper for the seafreighting to NZ.

Yes it should beable to be registered here, but you will have to go through a certifiaction process (get an engineer to go over it) before they will pass it. Are you the same guy that asked this on outerlimits?

Im about to go through the cert process with my truck http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/modules ... c&start=60 which has already been looked over ny ther certifier and had the ok. 7" lift and 35's should be fine with them.

You will have to check up the rules on bring over a personal import from aussie though there are probly some stupid rules about you haveing to have owned it for ??? years and it cant be resold with in ??? years. If you would like i can give you the contact number for my certifier to find out the details.

Thanks Guys,
No its not the one in the wheel alignment add, but it will be in a back ground shoot in the next 4wd monthly.

I have'nt asked this question before in Outerlimits, but I've been watching those threads.

And last, any contacts for shipping and rego etc would be great.

Thanks Lads
