Steel wheels

Post by p.marsh »

I know im posting this in the right place but i thought i might have better luck here. Im looking for some 15x6 steel wheels (offroad style) preferably with a low offset. Anyone got anything lying around? Would prefer if they needed a re spray cause then they will be cheap!!

6" is a very uncommon width for steel rims, you would be better off looking for a set of standard SJ steelies, they are 5.5" and you should be able to find a cheap set somewhere.

Oh yeah I'm not too fussed on the width. I am putting 215/75s on them so 15x7 might be a little too wide

I have factory 5.5 inch on at the mo, looking at the same process as you it seems. 7 inch at $90 per rim is $360 yes, but $15 per rim post as well! There is a place in chch doing free freight on tyres and can also fit new rims at $90ea with free freight as well so works out cheaper in the long run, 235/75/15 fitted $1100 and free freight. Let me know what your options are as I'm looking for the cheapest deal I can get. I can't seem to find much up this way, Google has had a whipping but didn't find much.
