Molesworth and Lake tennyson

Post by turoa »

Seeing as Doc had opened up a new track for a trial period we decided to go for a bit of a drive!

Well worth going for a look! Beautiful country and a fantastic drive (although I did it without putting the hubs in)

Looks stunning; thanks for the footage. Did you have a fish in the lake?

We did this Sunday also. Nice trip!

Standard Terrano and Surf, all just 2wd. Just a flat tyre on the Terrano at the Molesworth end due to low tread and the sharp rocks.
Sold my 1985, BJ74 MWB Landcruiser, rear locker, 33" MTs, snorkel, PTO winch, solid bars all round, spotties, AM CB etc.
Now just a 1994, 1kz Surf, pretty standard.

I went up there Thursday and stayed the night at Lake Tennyson. Bloody beautiful. Just a shame about the sand flies in the morning!!

No worries, a couple of the guys had bought a license so they did but didn't catch anything big enough to keep
