Advice on 7 seater 4wd

I currently own a 95 Nissan Terrano diesel, its my daily driver. I bought it because of its service history etc. Now with the family getting bigger I need more seats. Budget is around $5000. I like the look of the Mitsubishi Pajero. Would these be a good option for room and open road commuting?

I had one, was a good reliable truck. Had the 3 litre V6 petrol. Cost peanuts to buy too.

Im selling a 7 seater prado. 1990. 2.4 deisel, been doing open road commuting in it he whole time. goes great and is perfectly reliable. Just put a set of new ATs on about 5k ago. Can send pics if you want. Ive three of these wagons in slightly different guises. I love them and they are quite sort after.
