Gen 2 Pajero 2.8 Diesel Turbos

Has anyone got any experence with these motors?

Ive heard good and bad things. Im looking for a new daily driver 4wd really liked the pajero i had but want a diesel and i am not keen on having to pay the for the high fuel consumption of the 3.5 V6 again.

I dont have any personal experience, but I heard they were a gutless POS motor.

I think Wacko still has one in his garage from the mash

Wackos got the 2.5 lying around, they are a POS, think the 2.8's were a bit better

2.8 ones are beta than the 2.5 ones. good off the line more response arent bad one consumption either.
