hey ive been thinking for awhile lately about coming to new Zealand to see what its like (to me on the other side of the world I guess) im into off roading a lot, I have a 1986 Chevrolet k10 that is lifted up with a 350 and 37's I want to ship the truck there and spend some time there. what is it like for offroading? is it mostly private land, or is there no mans land that theres some nice trails and adventuring you can go on?
I don't know much about importing vehicles from Canada to new Zealand I already know about the 5 year work visa, if I were to move there honestly if I like it there enough I might apply for citizenship any input about the place would be awesome, also what all do you's drive down there? anything crazy huge? horse power? whats it like getting parts? say if I were to sea can my truck there should I stash a stockpile of trucks in the back to be safe?

That's a big truck for our narrow, twisting tracks. There is one of these in our club, but has bit more "shape" in the panels than was there when it left the USA.!! Depends on what part of the country you are using it on how suitable it is. Be great in the South islands wide braided rivers, not so keen to see it on the Maratoto loop.

That'd be sweet with a LS7 in it.

thanks for all that bub, I still couldn't figure it out afterwards.
yeaah and im not much of a bush wacker, If I wanted to smash it to hell id just use a ford
haha an ls7 would be nice, its just a rebuilt 350 that has the piss held out of it daily, I don't drive it lightly by any means
my goal is actually to put a 6.6 duramax in it, im working on getting a blown engine/ good block, dual turboing it and set it up with a 6speed standard with double disc clutch.
