Is there a trick to undoing the clutch Cable end nut on an SJ413? I presume I'm not the only one where the nuts rusty from being in water mud etc. I did read that the end of the rubber bellows is meant for holding the cable but still the whole cable seems to just turn. Is there a trick, or maybe I should just cut the cable and buy a new one tho these don't seem to come with the nut either. Just need to change the gearbox.

Remove the lever off the side of the gearbox that the cable is bolted to. Remove cable completely or let that end sit in tub of something to soak/penetrate. Wire brush the shit out of it and nail it with wd40 or similar.

Got the bugger, doing it in daylight rather than useless lights that need replacing in my garage helps a lot :)
Quickly realized that pushing the rubber boot back reveals a square crimp in the actual cable  Not the metal ring on the end of the boot like the diagram I found led me to believe :P
