1kz-te top mount intercooler

hey guys, newbie here i was wondering if someone has or knows anyone with a top mound intercooler setup for my toyota surf 1kz, i was thinking a front mount so it dosent get the heat from the top of the engine but i need the factory intercooled intake, some help on the subject would b awesome, cheers.

Use the search function. Many have intercooled these and written posts.
I fitted a top mount and other parts needed from the later intercooled engine. A body lift was needed for this

Front mount will get full of mud ... top is best if your going offroad

Credit where credit is due! The build is not mine. kbushnz is the builder. I bought it from him as he upgraded.

I have not installed this intercooler yet. but I do also have the glassed piece of pipe in the build thread. I also have a partly completed modified rocker cover, so that it will fit without a body lift.
