Dead '97 Pajero Junior

Kia Ora all,

Was really looking forward to joining in on these forums but alas, the Pajero Jnr I had bought for the missus died on our drive AKL > WGN

Oil had only done 3k kms since last oil change (according to sticker) so didn't bother to check, all new belts etc. rookie error, but it made a noise and lost power just outside of Bulls and turns out we cooked the engine. Only had it a week.

So! We are about to figure out away to get it from Marton to Wellington. We couldn't find a new engine for it.

If anyone knows where to track down an engine, or is after a wee project, I'm open to suggestions... Otherwise it's off to the wreckers... Such a shame cause it's real tidy -only done 117k's on the clock.
