Most terranos have the HG style diff, the few with the CA style I believe are the non-turbo diesels, which are most likely 4.8ratio. They are coil sprung so you would need to swap the internals over.
If a ratio swap isn't a problem, maybe a r200 diff from a skyline/cefiro etc could have its guts nicked and put into yours. There is a few differences between them (eg crownwheel bolt size), and I don't know how to tell the difference without stripping, but they can be bought real cheap. Won't matter if its a lsd or not, just steal the C&P and setup into your housing.

that's easier then you think.
the R200 was even used in the square box subaru legacy. and there are plenty of those getting wrecked.

there are 46 on trade me right now the first one off the rank has a buy now of $120

if you do make sure you get the inner tripod joint cups to go with it then you can install the whole diff and change it at the inner joints instead of hunting down a 300zx 280 sx diffhead with the correct spline count to match your inner axles.

some subies are r180...all auto 280zx's are r180...manuals are r200......but no 280zx came with LSD....the z31 fairlady 200zr had a viscous lsd from memory.Ive been through 7zx's and never broken a diff. They use them alot in rat rod builds, they can handle up to 300hp one buyer told me.

Where are you? I have a ca48 lsd complete drum to drum, but if I sell head separate, the axels, housing etc become worthless. Whats your best offer?

the r180 diff is mostly commn b4 legasys and there all lsd the auto ones are stronger then manual one from a bit of experience of limit bashing in 1,2,3 gears fo sum skids

cheaper getting them from a subi then a nissan as they will charge u more for the same thing only 1 thing one is shorter then the other i think
