Manukau4wd needs more marshals and assistants for our 25 Feb round of the National 4wd trials. Coz - it looks likely that we will go over 100 entries and may need to have all 30 hazards running at once.

Prospective Marshals (who haven't mashaled before) will need to attend a training session in early Feb - you can bring along one or two mates on trials day to act as assistants. Or you can just assist a marshal - ie watch where the vehicle stops and award the points.

i would be keen to marshal for that , have not marshaled at a trials before but have been to a few watching as i am building a trials type truck so put me down for the training as well . cheers vaughan

Thanks boys - still need heaps more - approx 80 marshals and assistants will be needed - plus crowd control for the masses that we think/hope will visit the trials

All pegged out - looking good - pity the poor buggers competing - I expect a lot of seats to be sucked up :shock:

Marshal training this Sunday - on Trials day - bring a mate - tell Tony on training day so that you an get another ticket etc - if all day free lunch + bar-b-que and a couple of beers at the end of the day - if you have a choice put your mud tyres on

and some small shackles - coz if it rains we might have to tow all the spectators out

I would be keen as to Marshal, but i wouldn't be able to attend the training as i am recording all this weekend. Any other way of getting some coaching another weekend??

Failing that, i'll sneak off for the morning and try and come;)
