Anyone tried KZJ/LJ78 springs in the rear of a Surf?

Just wondering if standard springs will fit and give any lift at all for the ass of a surf setup?

I've got 80 series springs that I'm yet to throw in, but I have a feeling they will be way to tall for the bitsalux, so I'm thinking about some other possible options.

Tempted to grab a set and sell them on if they don't achieve what I'm after.

Much smaller coil diametre. Wont fit in the seats.
New standard height 80 series will give 4" give or take. 2nd hand saggy 80 series would give you 3"??
