Well I come to a problem in my project.Since im ditching the rover v8/gearboxand transfer box in the range rover and just making it 2wd I have just found that the rear diff has the diff head offset so its inline with the transfer box output.Because Im using toyota v8/suprabox it will all come straight down the middle so I need a diff that ........
Has the head in the centre ,lsd,6stud,has ratio around 4:1 up to 4.4:1,disc braked, can handle 250-300 hp and is 1500mm from flange to flange,Ive looked under a newish 2.8 man turbo pajero and it has what I want but havn't checked the ratio yet,Are these strong Diffs??
Any suggestions??Toyota,Nissan
Cheers

What diff?????
What about the hilux diff/axle?
Centred, Hypiod [ie. not spiral; bevel as in weak Rover diff], heaps of them, heaps of ratios, lots of aftermarket parts/lockers etc.
Later model Surf rears are 58.5" or around 1480mm earlier hilux's are 55" [don't quote me on that].
