lowering surf

Post by BigBertha »

toyota surf kzn130 with 2inch body and suspension lift 33 inch wrangler muddies.now this seems stupid but my truck handles like absolute shiiit in the wet, if i hit a puddle or slippery surface it seems to dip in the left side. now i want to lower the front torsions, i managed to wind down the torsions but by the looks of things it hasnt done anything. i measured the wheel gap then unwound the bolts and nothing, the bolts did wind down tho. is it anything to do with the shocks?. any help is very appreciated.

By unwinding to bolts you managed to get them to turn? Reason I ask is I tried to wind mine up one day and it turned and turned and I didn’t realise the cup type nut was spinning too, A lot of effort going nowhere fast haha.

I suspect you have other suspension issues. Check for loose ball joints, damaged bushes, worn shocks, loose wheel bearings and loose steering mount points first.
