Hi everyone
Once again I need your expert help on this

Does anyone know how to increase the time the glow plus are on before starting the engine in a TD27 Terrano from 1995?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers

you can change it, using a after market glow plug timer but hooking into the OEM glow plug relay. i have done this on mine can go from 3 to 15 seconds.

Oh right thanks for your answers!
Well we have 86 Landcruiser with a changable preheat Timer, it is set to 12 seconds. On cold mornings it makes for so much nicer starting so I was wondering if it was possible on a terrano, is it hard to instal an aftermarket Timer?
Cheers Max

no you are basically replacing /bypassing an already existing timer.
you terrano ...
should.... have a preheat switch on the dash by the steering column somewhere. have you tried using that when starting in the morning?
