Evening All,

I have a leak somewhere in my cab. It shows up as a small puddle in the footwell, was right hand side only but with all this weather it seems to be on the left as well.

I have had a search here and found nothing. Questions;

1. Have any of you MWB owners had this issue too?

2. Where is it likely to be coming from? Leaking screen seal or from where the screen folds down when the roof is off..

Any experience you can share appreciated. Truck is too tall to fit in my garage, but I am going to take into the hangar at work and try and find the source.

Be coming in from either.. I ended up running sealant along the screen and put in a new rubber for glass.. but it most likely coming from the corners of the windscreen..get some winscreen sealant and pump it in there.. as it won't go hard so you can remove it if need be..

I figured it could be either.. I have sealant which should be perfect.

Not quite bilge pump quantities.. Yet.

Easier to just push out the bungs in the footwell!

Lifted the roof and dropped the windscreen forward, very wet under there. Some minor rust. Sorted. Painted today, seals etc go back on tomorrow.

'The original seal wont re seal it properly hence the silicon idea.. I'd glue-silicon the seal in place( or use windscreen sealant as it stays soft).. but that will mean you can't drop the screen down.. Up to you.. bin there done that..

Cheers Big, have some sealant, that stays soft... Don't intend on ever dropping the screen, not a big fan of catching bugs with my teeth!

An Aussie based crowd on Trade Me has replacement seals for $180.

those cruiser fold out windscreens always leak like sieves waters forced past the seals with 100kph of pressure..... or 110kph if your going down hill the windscreen frames always seem to end up full of water and moisture and rust from the inside out as well, take if off and turn it upside down and you'll hear all the rust scale fall to the bottom

I had the same problem in my HJ 74 passanger side floor well. Looked for it for about a year, had windscreeen out siliconed everwhere that I thought
it could be coming from, no luck. Then I lifted the carpet and put the hose
between the bonnet and windscreen. found it was coming in the seam of the floor pan and outer side wall. They use that black gunk and paint over it, well there was a tiny bit that wasn't sealed properly, stuck some silicone in and never had a wet floor since.
