Having trouble with my P38 Range Rover overheating. Did the same thing about a year ago and had the radiator flushed and thermostat changed which seemed to fix it. Pretty sure air is getting into the cooling system somewhere.
Block was pressure tested last week which was fine. When it overheated last year they checked the Olla t for exhaust bases and there was nothing.
I can smell a coolant smell inside so I suspect it may be leaking in the heater core and air may be getting in there?
Can anyone recommend a mechanic in Nelson who knows a bit about how these buggers work please.

You could try Bradley at Richmond radiators, he'll be able to sort any cooling issues

I've never seen under the bonnet of one of these, but when the heater core started to leak in my old Surf, I got a piece of scrap hose and bypassed the heater. The heater hoses, being at the top of the engine by the firewall, were also a good spot to bleed to system at.
Though coming into winter, you probably want a working heater.

Try Dave Malone, lives opposite the Rest-a -while shop, look for green shed, just past the Cable Bay turnoff, he is a Range Rover specialist
