Fast/high idle

I have a g16a powered escudo. Since installing a snorkel, the idle has been more than excessive, sometimes reaching 2100rpm. At first I thought it may be a vacuum leek but after reaching normal operating temp it drops down to around 1000rpm.any help would be appreciated

I had the same issue with my sons G16a powered Berlino. Turned out to be a leaking inlet manifold gasket.

Had the same problem with mine I took it to mechanics and they cleaned the throttle body and re adjusted it.

Found the throttle position sensor to be the issue. Just required adjusting.
