Not exactly a weekend achivement , but it did start as one .

I have been fumbling around trying to get a 16v suzuki motor running on a megasquirt ecu for the past two odd months . The first big err was not looking at the wiring diagram properly and noticing the ecu controled the ignition . Hmm , slight rewire and reprogram of the ecu ( it now has launch control , nitris and water injection and a bunch of other stiff a suzuki does not need to know about ) and all was sorted .

A few glitches along the way , battery not the best so once the volts got through the jumper leads to the engine it was lacking , hence no spark .

Anyway it finally burst into life this evening and about bloody time too . Now to find an exhaust , figure out whats up with the oil pressure light and I can start tuning it a bit more :-)

The first rip down the street will be a good one .

Ok , excuse the poor quality .

This is the megasquirt ecu I built to run the rover v8 , it may go back there soon .

This is the program used to tune the ecu , this will take some time as I am an amiture at this :-)

Set for a run , the recorded run is the second time I have run it , I did not expect it to start the first time . It has not gone as smoothly as it should have , taken over two months . Nevermind it goes now .

Video of the second run , to show up the v8 and straight six boys . this is the real sound of a big block 100 ci suzuki :-)

#### yeah wopass, but the pink zuk will be gracing you with its presence, not the yellow flatdeck. And please make sure your 4.2L gets further than my 1.3L across the swamp otherwise there may be some gloating action the following monday :lol:

fotos dont do it justice. i had to stand on tyre to get back in. didnt give it death trying to get up.. had the boy on my knee..and we all know that i have accidents occasionally.
