How hard is it to change the injector pump from a Non Turbo to a Turbo Engine.
Or can i just put the boost compensator onto the non turbo injector pump?
How hard would that be?
cheers

Pumps are not to hard to change. I have never taken the compensator off but I imagine it would be easier to change than the pump, Also non turbo pumps have a higher rev limit spring in them so will keep fuelling to higher revs.
Just mark how everything fits on and keep it all clean.

So to switch pumps over, the engine has to be on tdc on the 1st piston, and just line the "zzz" up?

When I take the Injector pump off the other engine. Does that also need to be on tdc. And the 'zzz' lined up? Then lock it in place?
