ORE Welly Training Day

Post by Jerry »

Advance notice of an ORE Welly Training day

Date and location tba as I'm still working on the training material, fine weather event only, family friendly, BBQ Lunch. suitable for everyone from the novice to the experienced 4wd'er who want a play or a refresher. bring your shiny truck if you want as no damage is expected. Proper towhooks are recommended as they may be required for a few hazards but if you don't have them then you can still attend.

Training will look at your trucks, Tyres, Winches and how to use safely, How your gear is stowed, look at equipment that is carried and trainees will get to use these in a safe and controlled environment. also looking at how to drive different hazards/situations. the day will involve some driving as well practical demonstrations. the driving is all optional and you can try them more than once. There may be small challenges involving recovery gear including tirfors.

Possible date late January?

More details to be advised later.

NB: Experienced volunteers to help setup and run this will be appreciated.
