Hi all,
Never owned a Prado myself, but my parents had one years ago and it was a great truck.
I'm looking at buying one as a project over the next year or two. Wither wanting to buy one off here that is already modified, or wanting one that doesn't need a whole heap of mechanical work - just a lift, etc.
I spotted this one: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =730993389
What price range would I be looking at to:
- Lift it (3-4" maybe?)
- Put some 33's on it
- Set of black steelies
- Snorkel
Anyone selling a lift kit for one at the moment?
Cheers

Thats a good price
check for rust along the roofline and front window, check the viscous fan has the head been done, ECU's can be an issue in these but can be repaired

Cheers for the info there Jerry. So I should check if the head has been done? Good if it has or bad?
Cheers

Good cos they crack between the 150k to 250k mark, genuine head is better
if it hasnt been done assume it will need doing at some point

Did you get the Prado? I see the auction has been pulled
Could've got a better price to as they needed a quick sale
