Hi I bought a 4wd hilux junker for a song
Its an auto , and has a radiator for the AC in the horizontal position above the engine sump gaurd.

I have been able to energise the the ADDs Relay by grounding the correct wire at the 4wd emu

and it switch the Vaccum relays

Q1 how much vaccum would be resonable

To remove the 4wd actuator looks to be a Bast**d
it looks like I have to remove the AC Radiator

Q2 am I correct?

I can feel a little vaccum at the Acuator about the same at the relays

Q3 does the vaccum move the gear into 4wd ?
Q4 it looks like a wire connction to the diff is this for temperature for the 4ws emu or some thing else

if so show I be able to move the accuator with a hose line for the Vacuum line and watch it move

These answers will set my next course of action
Thanks Ross

Good afternoon again
Found another good page at that site
Seems to tell me a lot
but not the sort of vaccum i should expect
from what i,m feeling , it couldnt pull the skin off a rice pudding
or is not a lot needed.

vacuum should accumulate, it wont feel like much if it's drawing direct from atmosphere...a bit like running an air compressor with no reservoir.....a bit breathless by it self... but open up a tank that's charged to 90 psi and it blow your hair off.
